Victorian Staircase Repair
A tricky job this week repairing a Victorian staircase that had been butchered. New ends on the treads, new brackets and new spindles. Also new nosings along the landing. managed to tighten the existing handrail and bold the newel up from the floor to stiffen it up. Looks a lot better.

New Van
Here’s the new van with the logo on, a great job by Hooper Signs. The old van was beyond economic repair so I had to get a newer one. The old one lasted 16 years so lets hope this one does as well. Give me a wave if you spot me out and about.
Beautiful Victoria porches
Beautiful Victoria porches built in Gosforth. They are an exact match for the old ones that were rotten and collapsing. New brick piers were built re-using the existing sandstone capping’s. The main porch is made from Accoya and will get a slate roof with a lead valley and stepped flashings.
Glazed Porch
Just finished building this fantastic double glazed porch in Gosforth. Built on a new brick base built using reclaimed bricks with a new concrete slab ready for tiling. Finished off a lovely green oak pergoda in the Great Park, Gosforth today. It has a green oak structure with a rubber roof finished off with a living Sedums. Lovely Stained Glass
I fitted new oak doors for a customer in October last year and they have just had the bespoke stained glass fitted. I think you’ll agree it looks stunning, a great job by Monkseaton Glaziers.
Christmas
