An unusual job in Jesmond this week. An Iroko pergola and handrails for the back garden in a Tyneside flat. Looks lush I think. I also fitted a cover to an old church font and the top of the octagonal stone base to make a stool.

Fitted a beautiful new porch in Gosforth, made to match the original details of the existing porches in the street. Made from Accoya and primed ready for decoration. The slate roof is next complete with stepped lead flashings and ridge tiles then touchened glass side panels.

A Beautiful Accoya door and frame in Gosforth

I took out an old, tired, yellowing uPVC door and frame and fitted this beautiful Accoya door and frame. Much better than horrible plastic. The door is 55mm thick to take 24mm frosted double glazed units.

A customer asked me to make a stand for a specially commissioned sculpture in his garden. He wanted it made from old railway sleepers. All fixed together with massive stainless steel coach bolts. I think you’ll agree, it looks amazing.
Lovely Five panel Front Door

Here we have a lovely primed Accoya five panel front door hung in Gosforth. It has raised and fielded panels with bolection moulding to the outside and a planted bead inside. The existing frame was sound and all it needs now is painting.
